Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I can’t believe what started as a story on Instagram has become something that 52 people subscribe to every week. For those that don’t know, Pokie and I have left Seattle for the midwest. I am going to attend grad school at Miami of Ohio to get my MFA in creative writing in the fall! In the mean time, we are staying at my parent’s house in Colorado for the summer. Obviously, the city of Seattle holds a special place in my heart, the walk report was born there, born from the grit and grime and loads of garbage that line those city streets. But, the walk report is more than just Seattle. The walk report is the idea that how you see the world is important, and funny, and worthy of being shared. My walk report certainly isn’t over, it will just take on a new flavor wherever I find myself next. So, stay tuned for whatever comes this summer, and you can rest assured that come fall, I’ll be back in your inboxes with a midwest walk report extravaganza.
